It’s been a few years since I photographed anyone out at Saltair, so I’m really looking forward to Sugarhouse Pictures “Saltair Saturday” this weekend May 9th! I decided I’d better scout the Great Salt Lake before Saturday, and it confirmed my thought at what a fun and unique location it will be for family portraits. I captured these images while scouting out the shoreline today.
I’ve mainly been a Utah wedding photographer over the years with a few family portraits interspersed along the way, but what I really love is taking portraits. Whether it’s in the studio or “out in the wild”, I just really like working with people, hearing their stories and learning something new from each person I meet.
What can I say…I get to go cool new places, meet interesting and unique people, and make beautiful images all at the same time! It’s like multi-tasking 3 of my top 4 favorite things to do all at the same time! Now if I could just figure out how to eat a ribeye steak while holding a camera…Hmmmm.
It’s a fairly heavily booked event, but I could still fit in a couple of more groups if anyone’s game. Please contact me by phone ASAP! Each group attending will receive a free session with an 11×14″ print of choice. Proofs will be posted online within a few days after the event.
I look forward to meeting and getting to know a little about each of you if not this Saturday, then at sometime in the future. Don’t be a stranger!
