A headshot says a lot about you. Whether you’re competing for a part as an actor in a movie, a television spot, a play or even an advertising campaign, it’s a vital part of any working actor’s arsenal for “getting the job”. An agent might look through a thousand headshots in pursuit of one that says…
What is YOUR headshot saying about you? You need a photo that will grab the right attention when it’s your split second turn in front of the casting agent. Don’t let your current headshot lose you work. Equip yourself!
As a Utah portrait photographer for the last ten years, I’ve taken my share of headshots…tens of thousands, actually. If you multiply the number of beginning actors who have passed in front of my camera at various agencies over the years and multiply by around 100 shots per person, it amounts to tens of thousands of headshots. Experience, proficiency, and and eye that knows what makes a fantastic headshot…a JOB getting headshot.
So whether you’re just starting your acting career and need your first headshot to present to the talent agency, or if you “missed the cut” one too many times at casting calls, or even if you have a decent headshot already and just want to see if you can get that little extra edge…
Don’t let your opportunities pass you by because someone else has a better headshot.
